Your Experience
Sophia has been at Salience since 2019 after gaining a first-class Digital Marketing MSc from The University of Salford. Starting as a content executive, she is now a senior content strategist. She has quickly developed from doing on-page optimisations to leading full SEO strategies, whilst playing an integral role in the development of the content department, including its procedures and personnel.
Something You Are Proud Of
Sophia has recently been nominated for the 2023 Prolific North Rising Star Award, leading an award-nominated content marketing campaign for a major home furnishings brand. And that's not all – that campaign also contributed to our award win for UK Search Campaign (Large) of the Year at the UK Search Awards. She was also the most senior strategist on our B2B campaign with Brita which received a nomination for Best Use of Search – B2B (SEO).
In her current role, she's been empowering the female members of our content team by facilitating weekly CPD sessions and workshops to help them reach their goals.
A Bit About Yourself
Sophia loves all things creative. She also has a first-class degree in Graphic Design from The University of Huddersfield. But after working in the industry, she quickly learnt that she wanted to follow a career in SEO and content creation.
Outside of work, she is an avid traveller, hiker, and food enthusiast. Once a runner, but soon to become a Mum – she doesn’t have the energy.
