Prolific North Top 150 Agencies 2026 badge

Salience has been named in the Prolific North Top 150 Agencies 2026.

The full list was published on 1 October 2026. Prolific North calls it the benchmark ranking of the North’s top agencies, and it is sponsored by the Alliance of Independent Agencies.

We placed 123rd.

One list instead of three

This is the first year of the Top 150. Prolific North has brought its separate Top 50 lists for PR, integrated and digital agencies together under one banner.

That means we are now ranked against every kind of agency in the North, not only digital specialists. Last year we placed 49th in the Top 50 Digital Agencies 2025.

Good company to keep

We are a search marketing agency based in Chester. We have been running SEO, paid media, digital PR, and CRO campaigns since 2009. You can read more about us and how we work.

Looking down the list, we recognise many of the agencies in the top 30. They are the ones we come up against in competitive pitches, and it is good to see our name in the same table.

It has been a good few weeks for us. Our work with The Independent Pharmacy is also a finalist at the UK Search Awards 2026.

“Plenty of the agencies near the top of this list are the ones we meet in pitches. We are knocking on their door, and we intend to keep knocking.”
